Sun protection
Warning! A large quantity of UVs pass directly or indirectly through the openings in the fabric or through the fabric itself. We recommend you protect your skin.
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH
Our commitment to using less water with this product
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water and also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced.
The zipper is made from recycled material.
Capacity
Sizes: - When unfolded, the side of the shelter is 1.5 m long and it is 1.10 m tall.
- When folded, the shelter forms a flat disc 56 cm in diameter.
Door configuration:
- When it is partially closed, the door protects your belongings from the wind, dust and sand.
- When it is completely closed, the shelter can be made into a small changing room.
Wind resistance
Use the tent pegs provided if it is windy.
Tip: for excellent wind resistance, in addition to the pegs that fix the shelter to the ground, you can use the cover half full of stones/sand, or your loaded backpack by placing it inside on the windward side.
The fibreglass poles provide excellent breakage resistance. The 5 mm wide pegs are made of galvanised steel for good twisting resistance.
Reduces heat
The whole shelter is equipped with our Fresh fabric. This exclusive and innovative concept reduces heat, thanks to 3 combined technologies: white polyester and titanium dioxide (TIO²) to reflect the sun's rays & aluminium for heat insulation.
Don't throw away, repair !
As both designers and lovers of the great outdoors, we take the durability of our products very seriously, that’s why all our shelters are designed to be repairable.
Spare parts are available in the aisles or in the workshop of your DECATHLON store. You can also find them on the DECATHLON website.
