Like many other local trail runners, Alice’s passion for trail running started with her participation in Oxfam Trailwalker. In recent years, she has taken part in numerous races in Hong Kong and overseas, including long-distance 100 km events: “I love running because it allows me to connect with nature – although my training sessions are quite long, I actually enjoy being able to spend more time in the countryside. I also love the feeling of challenging myself.”

Alice says that her most memorable race was the 2016 HK100 Ultra Trail Race. “The weather was really cold – it was hailing, and it took me 6 hours to finish the Tai Mo Shan section, even though it was only a few kilometres. Thankfully, I managed to make it to the finish line. In addition to teaching me the importance of perseverance, participating in so many races has made me realise that you might not get the time you want, even with the best of planning, because there are so many variables and unforeseeable difficulties. You just have to try and find a solution – just like how we overcome challenges in life.

Alice joined Decathlon 3 and a half years ago as a Running Sport Leader. She now works as a Communication Specialist in the Marketing team. Over the years, she has witnessed the rapid development of trail running in Hong Kong. WOMEN'S TRAIL RUNNING SL T-SHIRT - BLUE

This loose-fitting, technical T-shirt is made from a breathable fabric and is suitable for short and long-distance training and races. The main fabric and round neckline are specially designed to prevent backpack chafing, while the non-slip pads on the shoulders help to hold your trail backpack in place.
