Range

The range is determined by the brightness (measured in lumens) and the width of the light beam of your head torch.

There are two types of range depending on the sport practised:

(trail running at night, cycling, etc.)
Choose a torch with a brightness of at least 100 lumens to see far ahead and anticipate for any obstacles

Lighting modes

Head torches offer different types of lighting: it's up to you to decide on which ones correspond to your sport!

> A power mode for the most intense sports

> An eco mode for increased battery life

> A red mode to see without dazzling those around you

> A flashing mode at the front to be more visible

> A red flashing mode at the back of the head to signal your presence at the same time.

For example, if you are going to play sports in the city or on the road, put safety first by taking a torch with a red flashing mode on the back of the head!
