Shall I use a vibration dampener?

Sometimes you may feel the great amount of vibration when you racket comes in contact with the ball. Apart from an incorrect posture or technique, it may be because you didn't install a vibration dampener. Some famous players like Federer and Sampras also use it during the game.

The main purpose is to reduce the amount of vibration you feel when a tennis ball hits your strings. It also eliminates the ping sound you hear when the ball and your racket make contact. The dampener can help dull the ping and make the sound more solid and sharp. However it CANNOT reduce the chance of injury.
