When sport is your passion and stream of joy, what are you prepared to do to play sport every single day?
Work/life balance
I live in Sha Tau Kok and I work in Fanling so I need to commute 1h15min to get to work in the morning. At work, I use my lunch break to do sports - I run twice a week to stay fit for my favourite sports.

Sport brings me happiness
I also play badminton three times a week - still at lunchtime. I really need to burn some energy at that time and badminton is my favourite sport to do so. It's entertaining, technical - the perfect cardio training.

Committed to dragon boat
From work, I go straight to Ap Lei Chau where I train three times a week with my Dragon Boat team. It takes me 1h15min to get there. So it's a lot of commute but it doesn't matter - I love dragon boat so much, I need it.

Why dragon boat?
I started dragon when I was 17 years old, a friend asked me to join their team. I didn't enjoy it that much at the beginning but once I started to train regularly, I was hooked. The more I trained, the more competitive I became, it's a virtuous circle. Today I love dragon boat because it requires strength, power and most important team spirit. I can no longer imagine my life without dragon boat.

After sport
I finish my dragon boat training session around 9pm and it takes me another 1h30min to get back home where I help my kids with their homework. Some may think my life is tiring, but that's the opposite. When I do sports, I'm tired for the first few minutes - but after the session I feel relaexed and re-energized.
