How to adjust your walking poles?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust them: unscrew the middle section beneath the ring of the lower section, adjust to desired height (in cm), and screw back on firmly but not too tight. Do the same thing with the lower section. NEVER GO OVER THE "STOP LINE", or the pole may break during use.
Recommendations for use
Before leaving: always check that your poles are properly tightened.
When going downhill, or when pushing hard in the mountains for example, you can adjust your poles to make them longer.
When climbing, use the wrist strap for support. When going downhill, it is advisable to remove the wrist strap so that the pole does not get in your way in the event of a fall.

Winter basket (large diameter) provided.

NEVER OVERLOOK SAFETY...
For off-piste hiking, make sure you are equipped with maps, a compass and/or GPS and carry an Avalanche Victim Detector, a shovel and a probe. These three pieces of equipment enable you to be found if you are caught in an avalanche, or look for a victim. And do not forget to revise your security basics.
