Quick setup. Self-supporting tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy to fold thanks to the guidance system.
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (open from the inside). At the back of the tent, the flysheet can be retracted to provide even more ventilation. Air can circulate in the bedroom. 2 areas between the flysheet and the ground on each side of the bedroom to enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. Fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
The Ti0² coated fabric has a UPF of 50+. Please note: a large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
All Quechua tents are tested in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/m²/hr for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobond tape). A breathable polyester chamber under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes set up around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/hr on the ground (Force 6).
A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The environmental impacts of the product are calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) with each other. Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental information of its products. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
