Regulation (EU) 2016/425 applies to personal protection. These types of knee protections are notable in particular for tests on shock absorption capacity with impact tests according to standard EN1621-1 level 1

Choosing the right size is essential for good protection.

To choose your knee pad size, here is the recommended sizing
Size 1 = circumference 8cm above the knee from 36 to 39 cm (14 to 15 in)
Size 2 = circumference 8cm above the knee from 39 to 43 cm (15 to 17 in)
Size 3 = circumference 8cm above the knee from 43 to 47 cm (17 to 18½ in)
