Isn't my cap UV proof?

Don't worry, the fabric used for this cap blocks UVs with a UPF over 50 (therefore excellent protection). Of course this isn't the case for the side panels which are perforated, we cannot claim that the cap is fully UV proof.

Why do we say that polyamide is more resistant?

Polyamide offers excellent abrasion and tear resistance.
