HOW TO WASH YOUR FEATHER DOWN JACKET?
- Close all the zips of the jacket
- Turn it inside out
- Machine wash at 30°, on a delicate cycle with a small amount of washing powder and without fabric softener.
IMPORTANT: select a very gentle spin programme (< 800 rotations/minute): a too fast programme runs the risk of creating clumps of feathers that are difficult to separate
- Add 2/3 clean tennis balls into the drum of the washing machine.
- Run a 2nd or 3rd rinse cycle to properly eliminate any powder left from the previous wash
HOW TO DRY YOUR FEATHER DOWN JACKET?
In the tumble dryer (strongly recommended)
- Gentle or delicate programme.
- Run several long cycles to completely dry it.
- Between 2 cycles, pat the down jacket in order to separate the clumps of feathers that formed when it was washed.
If you don’t have a tumble dryer, the process will take longer. (it can take 1-2 weeks in a dry, flat place for the jacket to dry). Make sure to pat the jacket to avoid clumps of feathers (at least 4/5 times)
THE BENEFIT OF DOWN/FEATHER FILL
This down jacket filled with 85% down / 15% feather has a fill power of 660 CUIN (European standard). Fill power measures the thermal insulation of the down by its ability to "trap" a given volume of air. As such, the greater the loft of the down (the higher the CUIN value), the more space it takes up, the more air it traps and therefore the more insulating it is.
INFO ON THE STYLE AND SIZES
This down jacket was designed for playing golf and can be worn in everyday life. It comes down to just below the belt so that you can be perfectly comfortable at address and during your swing. The collar is slim, without being overly tight.
It has 2 zipped pockets on the outside and 2 non-zipped pockets on the inside.
The cord in the inside pocket can be used to attach the pouch so that you don't lose it.
In the picture, the model is 1.87 metres tall and is wearing a size L.
HOW TO WEAR
This down jacket is very versatile. It can be worn over a polo shirt, a pullover or a shirt. It will keep you warm and go unnoticed under a jacket. If you get caught out in the rain, it is water repellent, i.e. water droplets run off the fabric until you can find shelter or put on waterproof clothing.
