Volume of 70 litres.
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls.
The balls are then emptied into a graduated container in order to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a margin of error of just a few percentage points.

EASYFIT system
Our patented Easyfit system allows you to adjust the height of the back and tightness of straps at the same time by pulling on a single strap (on each side).

How to pack a backpack
Put your bedding at the bottom. Place the heavy equipment (tent, stove, food) near to your back. Pack your clothes around these items. A ground sheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag (add straps) if they don't fit inside. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece to hand. Place the small items that you will need during the day (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc) in the pockets. The water bladder can be placed in the compartment generally provided down the back.
Why are our rain covers grey when some trekkers want them to be brightly coloured?
The grey colour is neutral and therefore uses less dye.

10-year warranty
Our engineers have conducted tests simulating the ageing of backpacks. These tests are conducted on the components, seams and finished product. Forclaz use the results to guarantee the tested bags for a period of 10 years, starting from the date of purchase indicated on the receipt

STORAGE ADVICE
Store your bag in a dry, ventilated place away from direct light.
TESTS
All our backpacks are tested in use in the field by target users under the same conditions as they would experience in real-life use. In particular, our "Test Missions" bring together the product manager with people who are not affiliated with DECATHLON to test, improve and validate the products. This particular model was tested over a five-week period by trekkers in the Canaries, Pyrenees and the Mont-Blanc mountain range.
