Technical information

We have reduced our environmental impact on this product

We have improved this product with an eco-design approach to different techniques depending on the source of our yarn and production site.
On this model, we have used 3 of them: recycled polyester, mass pigmentation and the Dry Dyed process. Each colour and each source has its eco-designed solution.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CONSUME LESS WATER WITH THIS PRODUCT

Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, we chose to use a bulk-dyeing process that incorporates the colour pigments from the yarn manufacturing phase onwards.
We use this eco-design approach for our black pants.

Our commitment to consume less water thanks to the so-called "Dry dyed" process

For this dyeing process, little water is used and it is carried out by a pressurised gas machine to set the colour directly on the fabric.
Depending on the source of our fabric, we can use this eco-design dyeing technique on our single colours (except black).

WHY CHOOSE RECYCLED POLYESTER?

By recycling plastic bottles or used textiles to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petroleum-based resources while preserving the qualities and performance of the material for your treks.
Our printed model uses this recycled material in the main fabric as well as the waistband.

Available from size (6) to (22)

Our priority? That our hiking clothes fit all body shapes and figures! So that everyone who wants to can enjoy hiking trails in complete comfort. This is why these trousers are available from (34) to (50)

Approved By

These trousers were tested and approved in April 2019 by a group of testers during a 2-hour hike at the foot of the Arpenaz waterfall in Haute-Savoie.In order to meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the wild in the conditions you encounter during your hikes.
