A good compromise between protection from the rain and ventilation for running.
Your body temperature increases and you perspire when running. Waterproof fabric blocks the air and moisture. Your body's heat and moisture cannot escape. As a result, you are hot and wet in your clothes. To avoid this, we have added panels of very breathable fabric under the arms and on the sides. The air can circulate and most of the humidity is wicked away. As a result, the jacket is not completely waterproof. It's a good compromise for running.
Partially rainproof for running.
A panel of very breathable and non-waterproof fabric on the sides and under the arms allows the air to circulate in your jacket and avoid the pressure-cooker effect. As a result, the jacket is not completely waterproof. We chose a compromise perfectly suited for running up to one hour. But it is important to understand that this jacket is not totally rainproof for long hikes or trail runs.
Stretch fabric for passing your hand through the sleeve easily.
A panel of stretch fabric under the forearm makes it easy to pull your hand through the close-fitting sleeve.
Complementary product tips
It is always more comfortable to wear a long-sleeved T-shirt than a short-sleeved T-shirt under a waterproof running jacket. The T-shirt absorbs some perspiration and the long sleeves avoid contact with the waterproof fabric.
