Thermal comfort and Windproof
The wind makes the perceived temperature drop considerably. With an outside temperature of 0°C and 20 km/h winds, the perceived temperature will be -10°C. The so-called “windproof” components cancel out this uncomfortable wind chill. By creating a barrier against the wind, they are very good at reducing heat loss.
Water repellent property of the component
A fabric's water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. A fabric is made water-repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment must be restored throughout the garment's lifetime (after every wash). Products are available for this purpose in our stores.

Store in a dry place away from light. Do not use chemical products, such as bleach, that could damage the thermal insulation of the garment.
We carry out 2 types of thermal tests: - we test our fleeces' material. - a test on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the temperature, wind (5km/h) and humidity conditions that you would encounter in the mountains when walking at 5km/h. We use these tests to validate our design choices and adapt the thermal insulation according to where you need it most.
