About Adult Mountain Trekking Windproof Gloves Trek 900 - Grey
Used
since 2 to 8 weeks
I bought these gloves after I lost one from my previous pair, the Trek 500. The 900 are a lot warmer than the 500 for sure, I've tried both pairs during winter hikes in snow and with the 900 my hands were never cold, at all. Even when grabbing some icy railings during a scramble. They are also windproof, which the 500 are not.
The con is that with the 900 it is significantly harder to use your phone or zippers, which is understandable as they have a lot more insulation. I would recommend the 900 if you are planning on going on hikes in snowy, windy and cold conditions. For light city use they are a tad overkill unless temperatures are around -10.
I recommend the 500 for city use, they are good enough up until -5 provided there is no significant wind.
