Technical information

ANTI-FOGGING & CARE

Permanent anti-fogging coating exclusive to Decathlon: makes it almost impossible for your glasses to fog up.
This treatment does not deteriorate over time, and works in all weather and all temperatures.

To clean your lenses, don't wipe them when dry! Wash them with a bit of washing-up liquid or soap and water.

Dry them with the microfibre cloth provided. Never use a tissue or fabric cloth.

Store your sunglasses in their case.

LENS

Category 1 to 3 photochromatic lenses: filters 15% to 55% of light at 23°C.

In cold weather (under 10°C) the variation in the tint is greatly diminished.

Category 3: filters 88% of light (protection in sunny weather)
UV filter that complies with standard ISO 12312-1.

The mirror effect is aesthetic only. Beware of scratches, which are more clearly visible on a mirror lens. Keep them protected in their case.

HIGH DEFINITION LENSES

These high-contrast road cycling lenses have been specially designed to enhance the most common colours you see on your bike rides. This gives blues, greens and greys more contrast so that you can make out more details.

Being able to enjoy the colourful displays that nature provides will only make your rides more fun.

PHOTOCHROMATIC TECHNOLOGY

Photochromatic lenses adjust automatically to ambient light levels.

Lenses darken in approximately 30 seconds (takes 45 seconds to lighten).
The perceived brightness does not change much even when the outside brightness level changes.
For example, when cycling, the change in tint is almost imperceptible.
The tint adjusts gradually, and the eye adjusts to it.
The lenses tint faster in cold temperatures.
