The story of the 100S all-mountain bike...
Entirely designed and developed in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the work of a team of experts and passionate all mountain bikers. The Rockrider team designed and tested this Rockrider 100 S All-Mountain bike together with their MTB testers.
Choosing your mountain bike size

If you are on the limit between 2 sizes:
Choose the smaller size for easier steering (easier to handle) and comfort (straighter back)
Choose the larger size for easier pedaling with a more stretched-out position (a position more suited to performance).
Frame
The ROCKRIDER ALL MOUNTAIN frame offers 140 mm of travel on the rear wheel.
Its geometry has been optimized for steering: 66° steering angle, 15 mm bottom bracket under the wheel axle.
Made of 6061 and 6013 aluminum.
Lifetime warranty on the Switch & Ride frame: compatible with 27.5", 27.5"+ and 29" wheels.
148 mm x 12 mm BOOST rear axle.
Press Fit 92 bottom bracket.
31.6 mm diameter seat post.
Compatible with a bottle cage.

Fork
Rockshox 35 front suspension with 150mm of travel.
The hydraulic suspension is both sensitive to small impacts (absorbs the slightest bump at low speeds) and handles bigger shocks well (absorbs large obstacles at high speeds).

Manitou Mac Leod Air 190X51 rear suspension, specifically perfected for the Rockrider AM 100 S mountain bike.
Partial lockout rear suspension to prevent bobbing
during long climbs on rolling terrain.
Drive train
SRAM NX drive train, 1x12 single chainwheel, for lighter weight, more precision, faster gear changing, and greater durability.
Chainwheel: 32 teeth, easily replaceable (smallest chainwheel has 28 teeth, largest has 34 teeth) without changing the chain.
Cassette: SRAM EAGLE in 11/50 (11-13-15-17-19-22-25-28-32-36-42-50). The 50-tooth sprocket guarantees good gear reduction to help you climb the steepest slopes.
Steering position

Saddle / Seat post
The Rockrider XC/AM saddle has an Ergofit system for greater comfort while pedalling.
The telescopic seat post is height-adjustable, with 150 mm of travel (S size with 120mm travel) and controls on the handlebars of your mountain bike.
The ability to lower the saddle in a second with a single press of the thumb is a real advantage in All-Mountain biking. Feel at ease (and relaxed!) in your seating position on the bike during technical descents.
Wheels
Sun Ringle Duroc 30 wheels, with Boost axles, 15 mm at the front and 12 mm at the back.
Outer rim width: 30 mm.

Equipped with a watertight rim strip that is Tubeless Ready compatible.
To switch to Tubeless Ready: simply add a Tubeless valve and tyre sealant. The original tyres are already Tubeless Ready.

Maxxis High-roller II 29x2.3 tyres, Tubeless Ready.
A versatile tyre designed for riding on any type of terrain.
High side knobs for good grip in the turns.
Pedals
The bike comes with B'Twin Flat Evo platform pedals. However, for improved performance when pedalling and for better control of the bike when cycling, we recommend replacing them with clipless pedals with platforms or wide aluminium platform pedals.
A unisex mountain bike
Men's or women's mountain bike? This Rockrider AM 100 S mountain bike is unisex.
For added comfort, the women on our mountain bike team recommend the Women's 500 Sport saddle, which is adapted to women's builds.
Transporting your bike
The front and rear wheels can be easily mounted and removed: all you need is a hex key (size 6).
The rear derailleur has a screed that easily locks/unlocks, allowing you to easily attach or remove the rear wheel.

14.32 kg in size S, without pedals.

The weight can vary based on the tolerance of the components.
The complete bike (MTB + fully equipped rider) should not exceed 120kg.
Our advice after your first few outings
During your first few rides, your bike's equipment will adjust (chain, derailleur, brakes, etc.).
We offer a free service tune-up within 6 months following your purchase, during which our technicians will perform a 13-point inspection of your bike.
