Technical information

What type of power supply does the BL 400 lm rechargeable lamp have?

The BL 400 lamp's battery has a capacity of 5200 milliamps.
It is rechargeable thanks to its USB-C port. You can recharge it using: a power socket, a car cigarette lighter or any standard USB port (including a solar panel).
The USB/USB-C charging cable is sold with the BL 400 lamp. However, this is not the case with the mains power adaptor, but you can for example use your smartphone’s charging cable.

How long does it take to charge the BL 400 lamp?

Allow 3 hours for the BL 400 to be fully charged from a 220 V mains socket. The battery level indicator shows you the battery charge level.
When there is just 15% energy left, the lamp flashes and goes down to 30 lumens.

Is the BL 400 lamp easy to use?

To switch on the BL 400 lamp, our teams have come up with a rotational system, so that you don't accidentally switch it on when it's in your bag. This also allows you to turn on your lamp very easily in the middle of the night.
The red light ensures a softer, less aggressive and less dazzling light for your eyes.

How to optimise the light that you get from the BL 400 lamp

If you hang your BL 400 lamp with the coloured base at the top, you get 360° light, so you can light up the whole group.
The red light ensures a softer, less aggressive and less dazzling light for your eyes. This mode is very convenient at night.

What type of battery is used in the BL 400 lamp?

The BL 400 lamp’s lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 5,200 mAh.
It can be recharged using the USB type-C cable provided. Since the battery is removable, you can either recharge the lamp with the battery inside or you can take the battery out to charge it.
To remove it, open the tab and press the ejector clip.
The lamp works while it is charging.
This battery features a powerbank function (1.2 A output) to charge your electronic devices: phone, earphones or speaker.
