Which size Endzone 900 should I choose?

For Freestyle use, you can go for a relatively short board: choose a 20 or 25 cm drop (for example, a person who is 1.74m tall should choose a board between 154 and 149 cm in length). A smaller board makes rotations and tricks easier. A bigger board will be more stable at high speed and when landing jumps.
146 cm => 1.64m to 1.71m
153 cm => 1.71m to 1.78m
157 cm => 1.75m to 1.82m
163 cm WIDE => from 1.81m to 1.88m

A word from the product manager

The Endzone 900 is our pro model that we developed with Enzo Valax, a member of the French freestyle snowboard team who is currently training for the 2026 Milan Olympics. We wanted this board to meet the demands of riders using world cup- and Olympic-level snow parks. The construction of this board will give you the pop you need to take your freestyle to the next level.

Programme/terrain

As its name suggests, the Endzone 900 Pro was designed with and for freestyle professionals. It suits the slopestyle and big air disciplines the best. Its standard camber and bamboo core give it excellent dynamism to help you do tricks on the most challenging objects. It is suitable for expert riders who really want to challenge themselves in the snowpark. On the piste, its excellent reactivity and grip make carving a lot easier.

Twintip snowboard

The shape of the snowboard is TwinTip. The board's front and rear side cuts are completely symmetrical, providing perfect symmetry and centring of the board's features, so that you can ride in exactly the same way in both directions. The TwinTip shape also provides total balance when turning on the ground or in the air.

Standard camber

Thanks to the elasticity of the board, a standard camber acts like a spring to give you grip on all types of snow, pop when switching edges and acceleration on exiting turns. Enzo Valax chose a standard camber, the best weapon for a freestyle performer.

Stiff flex (8/10)

Flex is the stiffness of the board between the front and rear.
The Endzone 900 Pro has a flex rating of around 8/10, which is stiff and challenging to ride. It reacts very quickly to sharp turns, and it also has excellent reactivity for rail tricks or kickers.

Stiff, powerful torsional flex

Torsion is the stiffness of the board between the feet.
The Endzone 900 Pro has a rigid, powerful torsional flex, with a rating of about 8/10. It offers plenty of grip and support when turning, even on very hard snow and at full speed.
On the other hand, the Endzone 900 is a physical board: you need strong muscles to steer it, especially if you’re riding for a whole day.

0 mm setback

It is the preferred choice of Enzo Valax, who swears by symmetry.
The setback is when the board's compression points on the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance.
no setback = these are fully centred Twin Tip boards, not only for riding in both directions, but also for better balance during rotations in the air and on the slopes.

Recommended bindings

With the SNB 500 bindings (reference number: 8668654), the board + bindings will be coherent in terms of design.

When should you wax your snowboard?

Wedze boards are supplied already waxed.
They then require regular maintenance like all snowboards and skis: ideally waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year:
- either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide
- or at the end of the season so that the wax protects the base all summer long

Glide quality: sintered sole

The bases are made from polyethylene using 2 different technical processes:
- extruded base, with a certain density of polyethylene
- a sintered base, with a higher density of polyethylene (fewer holes, more PE)

A sintered base is the Rolls-Royce of bases. The glide is really fantastic.

What is the Wide version snowboard?

A "Wide" board is a board that is wider than normal, to prevent "large" feet from touching the snow when turning and making you fall, or to increase buoyancy on powder. The width of the board is measured at its centre.

At Decathlon, we have defined:
- up to 245 mm: narrow board / foot size 4 to 7
- from 246 mm to 255 mm: normal/shoe size 5 to 8
- 256 mm to 265 mm: Mid Wide / foot size 7 to 10
- from 266 mm: Wide/shoe size 8.5 to 13

Can the shop mount the bindings on my board for me?

Yes. On the product page, you'll find a set-up support video, however you can also ask your store to fit your bindings to suit your own preferences. Remember to take your snowboard boots with you for 2 adjustments:
1. The front/back of the binding, so that the toes or heels of the boots don't stick out on one side more than the other
2. The straps on your bindings, which should be properly adjusted to your boots.
