CUT
The cut of these over-trousers was designed to be sufficiently wide so it can be worn and taken off easily. In parallel, our model creator, Vanessa, took care of the product’s patronage so that its cut remains feminine despite everything.
OVER TROUSERS STRUCTURE / 3 LAYERS
These over trousers are made up of 3 layers, the best protection there is on the market: the membrane is glued between the inner and outer component layer (hence it being called 3 layers).
The membrane is a kind of very thin plastic film (polyurethane) that makes the component waterproof while remaining breathable.
It is protected by knitted fabric and has the advantage of being softer, lighter, more durable and often more breathable than a coating.
WATERPROOFNESS TEST
We measure the waterproofing of the fabric and the waterproofness of the entire over-trousers.
The waterproofness of this fabric is 15,000 mm Schmerbers: this means that it resists the pressure exerted by a 15,000 mm water column (ISO standard test).
These overtrousers have also been tested with a shower test reproducing storm conditions of 30 cm of rain in 3 hours.

HOW TO RESTORE THE WATER-REPELLENT PROPERTY OF MY OVER-TROUSERS?
The water-repellent property of a fabric is its capacity to make water run off its surface without absorbing it. In this way, the over trousers do not soak up water and stay lightweight and breathable. The fabric is made water-repellent by treating its outer surface, however this property may deteriorate with use.
All the steps to restore the water-repellent properties are below:

BREATHABILITY TEST
The breathability of a material is its capacity to wick away the water vapour generated by perspiration. During intense effort, it is, therefore, essential to wear very breathable clothing so you do not stay wet.
Breathability is measured by the RET, the resistance of a fabric to the evacuation of moisture. The lower this coefficient, the more breathable the fabric is:
RET ≤ 6: very breathable fabric
RET ≤ 12: breathable fabric
RET ≤ 20: low breathability
